PFS Meeting Directors Qualifications

There are five specific traits that are possessed by successful PFS Directors.

1. Leadership: Connected and familiar with the local community and active in social and/or professional organizations.
2. Nurturing: Genuine desire to help other people by working individually and in groups derives personal and/or professional satisfaction by assisting with achievements of each PFS group member.
3. Organization: Comfortable and capable recruiting members through word of mouth, organizing events, maintain membership growth and coordinating all aspects of the PFS group’s success. Ability to commit several hours a week.
4. Optimism: forward thinking and unwilling to throw in the towel. Generally upbeat and positive attitude with the ability to tap into potential of others, spreads realistic goals among the PFS members.
5. Dedication: Strong desire to complete what duties a Meeting Director with excellence.

To start up a PFS Group:

If you can find at a minimum of three to five professionals that are from different business backgrounds and a place to meet, the PFS Regional Director, can assist you in getting it running. PFS does not turn individuals away because their industry spot is filled in the group; we try and accommodate them by starting a new group.
