PFS Guidelines and Procedures

It is the policy of Professionals for Success, Business Solutions to treat all members and non-members alike in a fair and ethical manner.   Belonging to a PFS group is an opportunity and a privilege, therefore we hold ourselves accountable to these guidelines and policies in order to maintain a standard of high professionalism.

  • Membership is exclusive, only one person per business category per club.
  • Members must follow up with referrals given to them in a timely and professional manner.
  • A PFS member (individual) may not participate in other exclusive referral groups, other than PFS .
  • Members of PFS must attend Membership Training within the first 30 days of their membership. Failure to do so may result in the revocation of membership.
  • A Membership may be put on probation or forfeited for failure to adhere to Guidelines & Procedures and/or PFS Code of Ethics or if for any reason they become a detriment to their Club.

Attendance:
A member is allowed four absences during the a twelve month period. You may send a substitute in your place and not be considered absent (a representative cannot replace a member on a regular basis and may only attend in place of the member three times during the 1 year period). Members who regularly arrive late or leave early during the meeting may have their membership put on probation or forfeited. A 10 minute tardy or leaving 10 minutes early is considered an absence.

When a member has difficulty attending meetings on a regular basis, the Meeting Director will council with the member to try and find a solution to the problem. If poor attendance continues, the Members industry classification is subject to being opened.

Leave of absence: A member may request a leave of absence for up to a six week period, due to medical, military, family, or job related reasons .However each case will be considered, approved or disapproved by the Meeting Director on an individual basis. Substitutes are recommended.
PFS member lists are not to be used for solicitation purposes, without the consent of the member.
All advertising and/or PFS promotional material must be approved by the corporate office.
Transfers:   Transferring members must submit their request to their Meeting Director for approval along with a new member application for the club that they wish to transfer to, and a letter of explanation. Only a Meeting Director can approve transfers. Transferring is discouraged because it can be disruptive and seldom results in member success.
Change of Classification: A member who wishes to change industry or classification within a club must submit a new member application to the Meeting Director requesting the change. The Meeting Director may approve or disapprove the change.
Visitors may attend a Club twice. Thereafter, only if an application is in process.
New Member Applications :
Applications are given to the Membership Team who should, within 24 hrs, send out an email to the club membership asking for feedback on the potential member.
It is a member’s responsibility to voice a concern about an applicant BEFORE the applicant is approved for membership. If there are no concerns, the Membership Team will assume that the applicant is acceptable.
When a concern is voiced in regard to an application, the Meeting Director should forward the application and their concerns to their Regional Director. Concerns will be addressed in a fair and professional manner before any decisions are made.
Application process should be completed within a week and the applicant notified.
Conflict and/or Problems:
In the event of a problem, the member should voice their concern in writing and email it to the Director, who will try to resolve it in a timely and professional manner.
If a member has become a detriment to the PFS Group, the Director, at their sole discretion, may put the member on probation or discontinue membership.
Yearly Renewal: Once a year, a member has an opportunity to renew membership by submitting a renewal form with the appropriate membership fees to the Professionals for Success, 808 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo,Mi. 49008 ~ or on the Website www.professionalsforsuccess.com
All Guidelines and Policies are subject to change. All proposed changes must be reviewed and accepted by the corporate office.

Members may visit other PFS Groups without invitation as long as there is no one filling their category in that Group.

There will be a $45 fee for any returned check (NSF) or for a closed account.   Fees unpaid may terminate your membership at any time.

A member cannot speak about more than one business during a 60 second     Presentation or at the Showcase Presentation.

Members are discouraged from recruiting members for any MLM business that they are in.
